OCD
Homeroom
8:55 am, January 12th
Westchester, New York

"Rate me," I asked the Pretty Committee. They quickly scammed my cream Stella McCartney top, leather leggings and Dolce and Gabbana booties.
"9.7!" Dylan said.
     "Given!" Alicia said.
"How do my highlights look?" I whispered. I didn't want anyone else to hear me.
"They look great," Kristen said. All of the sudden, I remembered someone.
"Where's Kuh-laire?" (I had a dentist's appointment this morning and had missed carpool.)
"I don't know," Dylan said. "She didn't show up for carpool. Her mom said she was..." The bell rang and we walked to our classes. My first one was fashion design, ah-viously the best class of the day.

OCD
Science class
11:17 am, January 12th
Westchester, New York

In the middle of class, Claire walked into the room, wearing a huge green sweatshirt with the hood over her head. OCD is always warm especially in the winter. I decided to text her with my phone inside my book.

massie: kuhlaire! r u a pimple?
claire: um no. and stop texting i have 2 get an a in this class!
massie: then y r u so covrd up? its brning hot in here and also.. that sweatshrt should NOT see daylight! ;)
massie: answer me!
claire: meet me in 6rh grd wing aftr class

I rolled my eyes and glared at claire's back. why did she have to be so mystic?

After class, claire dragged me to the wing... or tried to. "Wut are you doing?!" I asked her. "And take off that sweatshirt. I can't be seen with you in it." claire looked at the ground and pulled her hoodie off.

"Ehmagosh! Kuh-laire?"

Her hair was a complete mess. It was half blond, half green. And completely frizzy. The girl looked like she'd never deep conditioned. Eh-ver. "Ehmagosh," I said again. "Who did this to you?"

I knew only one thing- the sweatshirt would have to stay.
